Text of Acceptance speech:

Hi, I’m Jennifer Ciarimboli, Founder & CEO of studio BE.  My co-founder, Sara Crolick and I, launched studio BE in January of 2019.  Our mission and product was developed to reduce suffering in the world. In 2020, in the midst of the global pandemic, studio BE boldly launched our digital well-being solution for expert teachers around the globe to support their students and communities.  In 2021, studio BE further developed our digital product, creating a unique end to end well-being solution for companies and organizations.

Everything we do at studio BE is grounded in the development of awareness.  Our content, programs and expert resources focus on supporting five main faucets of whole person well-being - Physical, Mental, Emotional, Relational & Social.  We leverage our technology, expert resources and curated content to serve our clients. Our product provides clients with a valuable, scalable tool to keep teams connected, curious and well.

Our team is committed to inclusion, diversity, and the humble knowing that we are forever-learning. Our aspiration is to provide exceptional access to preventative care for everyone. We believe that it is the responsibility of employers to take better care of their people and we are obsessed with making our tools accessible to underserved populations. Inspired by Tom's Shoes - One for One Campaign, we've developed a similar program called, "#studioBETogether". Through this initiative, we help our corporate clients choose a non-profit recipient to "gift" subscriptions to. We will never turn an organization away for the inability to pay and believe that all of us can BE Well together.

At studio BE, we believe that self-care is collective care and that kindness, generosity and compassion can change the world.

studio BE represents the vision, opportunity, and thriving ecosystem of the support network existing in NEPA for entrepreneurship, innovation and progress.  We are so grateful to the support we’ve received from our families, the local business community, our local executive advisory board,  the International Sangha from the Insight Yoga Institute led by Sarah & Ty Powers, Ken Okrepkie and the awesome team at Ben Franklin Technology Partners of NEPA, the technology initiatives from the Commonwealth of PA...

Don Webster & his team at TechBridge Radio, Wilkes Barre Connect, Holly Pilcavage and her team at Coal Creative, 1855 Venture Capital out of Central PA, Segal Ventures out of Pittsburgh PA, all of the Angels and private investors that have supported us and of course, Lindsay Griffiths and her amazing team at the Wilkes Barre Chamber of Commerce. We are proud to accept this prestigious award and are committed to the mutual health and well-being of all people in Northeast Pennsylvania.
