studio BE is pleased to offer a variety of yoga and meditation practices to help calm your nerves and soothe your spirit during this unprecedented time.

New to yoga? Not sure where to start? This one’s for you.

Join Rachel for this beginner-friendly class designed to introduce the basics of vinyasa. We’ll move through a steady, easy-going full-body flow, finishing with a brief seated meditation and a relaxing savasana. It may help to have props like blocks and a strap handy, but no worries if you don’t have them nearby. You’re welcome to use anything similar you find around the house, like a book, a water bottle or a kitchen towel.

As always: let your breath drive your practice, feel free to modify anything that doesn't feel safe or reasonable (especially if you're pregnant, recovering from an injury, or new to yoga), skip vinyasas for a more mellow practice, and turn on some gentle background tunes.

Most importantly, remember to be gentle with yourself — and don't take yourself (or your yoga practice) too seriously.
